PVLGNYC have recently opened a store in the Lower East Side of New York now having a physical outlet for the masses. It seems that having this store space has allowed for some Japanese exclusives to become available State Side with this NY Yankees Sakura 59FIFTY.

Hall of Fame

Hall Of Fame don't make as many fitteds with New Era as they use to but recently the sports influenced brand dropped two 59FIFTYs. Built using the Yankees' signature navy/white combination the cap features laser perforated back panels. A green underbrim is added along with a white New Era flag and MLB logo. New York Yankees

New fitteds have arrived at Japan's headwear retailer Cap Collector, dropping some exclusive pieces for you to get your hands on. Built using a black crown and visor, a chocolate brown leather apple patch appears on the front panels branded with the Yankees logo. No Runs DMC

During this year's MLB season the New York Yankees boasted a dominant bullpen of Dellin Betances, Andrew Miller and Aroldis Chapman. They soon earned the nickname "No Runs DMC" with the DMC referencing the relievers in the order they took to the mound. Shirts and headwear were made to honour the players, with the blessing of Run-D.M.C., and this 59FIFTY is included.

Packer Shoes x New Era Cap

Packer Shoes have always been inspired by sports and the rich history that comes with any game. Taking that love Packer introduce "Packer Sports" with this first of several upcoming drops. The baseball collection features two caps in collaboration with New Era dubbed "Varsity P". The colour scheme of the two caps are based on the MLB teams of the Big Apple; the New York Mets and New York Yankees.

Kith x New Era Cap x Mets x Yankees

Kith have teamed up with not only New Era but both of New York's MLB teams; NY Mets and NY Yankees for a special collaboration. The collection pays homage to the city's MLB Subway Series and features six 59FIFTYs. The first four caps salute the cross-city clash during the 2000 World Series, the last time both teams faced off in the championship.

New Era Micro Palm Print

New Era have started to release their summer collections for the sunny months ahead (fingers crossed). The "Summer Palm Prints" collection features the "Micro Palm Print" 59FIFTY. The stone coloured fitted uses the New York Yankees logo embroidered in black on the front panels while mirco palm trees are printed on the cap's visor, also in black. Fruit Salad Yankees

One for the kids, as New Era go the health route and get colourful for this Japanese exclusive. Making sure the kids get their five-a-day the NY Yankees fitted sports various fruit all-over the piece. Kiwis, peaches, grapes and strawberries make up the fruit salad print and the Yankees logo is featured in raised white embroidery. Katakana Yankees

A Cap Collector exclusive, the cap retailer gives the New York Yankees a Japanese makeover. The Legends League

Canadian lifestyle brand The Legends League chop it up with New Era once again to bring back their LL 59FIFTY. Dubbed "Yankee Blue" the fitted features the classic "LL" logo embroidered in raised white stitch on the front panels of a navy crown. New Era Presents: Heritage Series - The 1996 Collection

Available now is the latest in the New Era Heritage Series; the Spike Lee collection. In 1996 the director made a phone call to New Era's CEO Chris Koch to make a request that would change the headwear game. Spike's request for a red colourway to be made of his beloved New York Yankees baseball cap was granted thus starting the trend of the popular colourways we see today.

This time the 59FIFTY is available in "Yankee" colours, with a navy body and green underbrim. New York Yankees "Island"

The Island pack from New Era is in full swing, with a range of headwear and apparel in the collection. The 59FIFTY caps in the drop are in two many colours one being scarlet. Ostracized Genius

Another gem I found through Instagram is streetwear brand Ostracized Genius. To ostracise is to exclude a person from a group or society and well a genius is a very intelligent or creative person. Put the two together and this brand is for those who have ever been outcast or ridiculed for their differences.
This 59FIFTY is Ostracized Genius' fourth release and with two more in the works they're definitely a brand to look out for.
