Mishka team up with New Era for another seasonal 59FIFTY, this time part of their Heritage collection. The Death Adder logo appears in embroidered across the font panels of a royal blue crown while the cyrillic logo is featured in red on the rear. New Era Presents: Heritage Series - The 1996 Collection

Available now is the latest in the New Era Heritage Series; the Spike Lee collection. In 1996 the director made a phone call to New Era's CEO Chris Koch to make a request that would change the headwear game. Spike's request for a red colourway to be made of his beloved New York Yankees baseball cap was granted thus starting the trend of the popular colourways we see today.

Coming this week is the latest instalment of the New Era Heritage Series. One phone call made in 1996 made history as New Era, on request of Spike Lee, made a red colourway of the world famous NY Yankees cap bridging the gap between New Era and streetwear. New Era Presents: Heritage Series - The 1993 Collection

The second phase of New Era's Heritage Series is here as New Era present The 1993 Collection. Paying homage to the 1993/94 MLB season that saw New Era become the official supplier of on-field team caps. Using their 59FIFTY silhouette New Era also released the Diamond Collection so that fans could support their team by wearing the signature cap.

New Era Presents: Heritage Series - The 1934 Collection

Celebrating 80 years of the 8 Panel 19TWENTY fitted, New Era launched the Heritage Series "The 1934 Collection". I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch event showcasing the caps the night before they went live. There are six caps in the collection representing the; Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians (which were the first team the caps were made for). The Detroit Tigers, New York Giants, New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals. Replicating the original designs the caps use Melton wool bases with detailed logos embroidered on the front panels. The caps also feature a hard-wearing leather sweatband giving them a truly classic feel. All six caps are now available via both New Era and Size?'s online stores.
