Somewhat of a throwback, this 59FIFTY comes from a collaboration between rapper/activist Killer Mike of Run the Jewels and creative/clothing label Daylight Curfew. I first saw Killer Mike rocking this cap during an interview on The Breakfast Club and instantly prowled the internet to find out where I could cop one. Needless to say it was a fruitless search as the cap was probably a sample and wasn't available yet. It wasn't till over a year later that the VLNS collection was released bringing the cap along with it.
Seeing as Killer Mike is from Atlanta it's a no-brainer that the cap is constructed using a navy crown with a red visor and top button, resembling an Atlanta Braves on-field fitted. The VLNS logo is featured on the front panels in raised white embroidery and outlined in navy thread. A "Worldwide Villains" patch appears on the right side opposite a red New Era flag while a green undervisor completes the look.
