Available now is the latest in the New Era Heritage Series; the Spike Lee collection. In 1996 the director made a phone call to New Era's CEO Chris Koch to make a request that would change the headwear game. Spike's request for a red colourway to be made of his beloved New York Yankees baseball cap was granted thus starting the trend of the popular colourways we see today.

One phone call made in 1996 made history as New Era, on request of Spike Lee, made a red colourway of the world famous NY Yankees cap bridging the gap between New Era and streetwear.
