MLB Dugout Launch at New Era

Daniel, being away on one of his many other missions, sent me in his place last week to represent Fitted Nation at the launch party of MLB Dugout. This interactive installation at the New Era Soho flagship store in association with Major League Baseball has been created to coincide with the MLB Series.

It took awhile but after a mix up with my order I have finally got my Ribbon C fitted.

The navy blue fitted features a raised white "C" embroidered onto the front panels of the crown. A tonal "For the Greater Good" side-patch and anvil logo on the rear are also included while the fitted is finished with a kelly green underbrim.

In England when you think of winter the colour black comes to mind. Black hoods, black trainers and black caps. Clearly Johnny Cupcakes got the memo and have dropped this black on black version of their crossbones 59Fifty. It's not all doom and gloom as fitted does have a splash of colour via the eyelets which sports various colours of the rainbow and features a print on the underbrim.

Stown Limited are a New York based streetwear brand who are influenced by graffiti and started their brand with the intention of making wearable art. The name Stown is the alias of the brand's brainchild Spencer Cohen. The brand has been receiving attention worldwide since their launch in 2011 with a high demand for their custom fitteds.

The Human Imagination

Many of the hats in my collection were bought because I had seen and missed out on a previous colourway and have patiently waited for one to resurface.
The "hi" 59FIFTY, from Hawaiian brands In4mation and The Human Imagination, is a perfect example and has been on my hit-list for a while. I have seen it on other blogs and websites, never being able to get myself one.

Included in the latest drop from Dissizit is a new version of the D-Wing 59Fifty. The black crown features the logo embroidered in black, green and red outlined in white on the front panels. Nearly every state in America has two baseball teams in the MLB which makes for great rivalries. For instance the Subway Series between the Mets and Yankees, the Windy City Series between the Cubs and White Sox and the Bay Bridge Series between the Athletics and Giants.

You would be forgiven for thinking there were actual cupcakes in this box, I was questioned on the mysterious box by various people on my way home from Johnny Cupcakes in Carnaby Street. I guess this can only add to the appeal that the brand already has.

Major DC

Freshly re-stocked for their online store Major DC drop their latest Trinity 59Fifty.

Urban Flavours x Мишка

Poland's Urban Flavours recently collaborated with Brooklyn based brand Mishka bringing you this custom "Keep Watch" 59Fifty. The grey fitted features the eye logo pierced by an arrow à la the legend of William Tell. The Urban Flavours logo is included on the side while Мишка appears on the rear, both in purple. The fitted is finished with a snake skin stylised black brim and signature mouth print on the underbrim.

Being from San Fran, *All Out Foul drop fitteds non-stop dedicated to their home town sports teams, the latest being the Warriors. Before heading to Oakland in 1971 to become the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco was the home to the Warriors.
