Every other season Mishka experiment with their classic Keep Watch logo, while keeping the key elements, this time causing an explosion.

Summer at Mishka is here, bringing new 59FIFTYs with them so let's plunge down the rabbit hole. The "Mainframe Keep Watch" is constructed using a black crown and visor while familiar green text is printed all over the cap. The signature eye logo appears in green and black, embroidered on the front panels. Lastly Mishka's cryillc logo is featured on the rear and the trademark mouth print, in a shade of green, is included on the undervisor. Mishka's spring collection features a vast range of 59FIFTYs, this Keep Watch fitted in particular is heavily influenced by Hinduism; the eternal way. Various Hindu deities appear on the print including Vishnu and the ten headed demon king Ravana. The eye logo uses purple veins and a golden iris. Mishka's Keep Watch logo makes its seasonal appearance this spring with the "Crushed" 59FIFTY. At first glance I assumed the print was of crushed ice, but it is in fact a bleached black print which features all-over the piece. The eye logo is embroidered in black and white and Mishka's Cyrillic logo appears in the rear. Of course the signature mouth print takes its place on the undervisor. What better to wear over the dark winter months than a Mishka "Keep Watch" 59FIFTY. The signature logo appears embroidered in various shades of grey on the front panels of a grey Melton wool crown. Top 5 Fitteds of 2014

So here we are in 2015 and as we say goodbye to another year of strong New Era fitteds, I thought we should take a look back at five pieces released last year. Following on from 2013, here is my Top 5 Fitteds of 2014 in no particular order...

Kidrobot x МИШКА

The unlikely duo Mishka and Kidrobot recently teamed up for a collaboration brining the brand's signature logos together. Kidrobot's Dunny merges with Mishka's "Keep Watch" logo on the front panels of a black cap. Mishka's cyrillic logo and Kidrobot's logo are featured in white embroidery on the rear. Mishka have teamed up with Detroit hip hop duo Twiztid for a small collection featuring a t-shirt and a New Era fitted. Using Mishka's signature "Keep Watch" design, a green eye with black blood vessels appears on the black cap. Mishka bring back their "Keep Watch" logo but this time with an Egyptian mummy theme. The black fitted features the eye gazing through bloody cloth wrapped around it, with the logo outlined in white. The undervisor also includes a traditional mouth print but as this is mummy themed, there are a few teeth missing and a blue tongue is visible. New on Mishka's menu is the "Pizza Keep Watch" 59FIFTY. Using an off-white crown and red visor, the Eye logo is embroidered on the front panels as a pizza with a slice missing. Taking a look at the back and you'll find the missing slice embroidered above Mishka's script logo. The cap is completed with the trademark mouth print on the undervisor. Seeing as it's Thursday let's take a look back to a collaboration from Mishka's 2013 autumn collection. The brand is known to be influenced by Rock n' Roll and Mishka linked up with American rock band Dinosaur Jr. who touch on various styles of rock. Using the "Keep Watch" 59FIFTY silhouette the cap features the eye logo embroidered in grey with a purple iris and blood vessels, on a black crown. The crown is accented with a purple visor and the band's logo appears on the right side. The NE flag is included in purple as well as Mishka and Dinosaur Jr.'s names on the rear. Mishka and L'Amour Supreme link up again for a new "Keep Watch" fitted, this time without the markers. The cap uses a black base and the custom eye logo appears in raised yellow and blue stitch while the Cyclops skull poses as the pupil. LHR to JFK III: The Final Chapter

During the last days of my New York trip I visited the Mishka store and Privilege office in Brooklyn. The Mishka store, located at 350 Broadway, matches the persona of the brand exactly with its roots from punk and black metal expressed in the decor.

The black fitted features a plain eye logo and a pack of five permanent markers so that you can customise the cap as you see fit. This year Mishka celebrate their tenth anniversary and do so by dropping the "Decade of Destruction" capsule. Featuring tees, a beanie, a varsity jacket, a hoodie and this "Keep Watch" 59FIFTY. The cap uses a yellow crown and black leather visor with the trademark mouth print on the undervisor. The eye logo appears in raised embroidery in a white woollen material outlined in black, with a yellow iris matching the crown, on the front panels of the crown. The "Engineered to Destroy" patch is included on the right panel and "Decade of Destruction" appears in a banner below the "МИШКА" logo on the rear. Lifestyle brand Mishka linked up with artist Jon Vermilyea for a collaboration, re-imagining the "Keep Watch" 59Fifty.
