Weekly Manga Action in 1967, Lupin III became a popular media franchise spawning various manga, animated television series and films as well as being referenced in quotable rap lyrics. The series follows the adventures of master thief Arsène Lupin III, the fictional grandson of Maurice Leblanc's Arsène Lupin.
