First appearing in Japanese magazine Weekly Manga Action in 1967, Lupin III became a popular media franchise spawning various manga, animated television series and films as well as being referenced in quotable rap lyrics. The series follows the adventures of master thief Arsène Lupin III, the fictional grandson of Maurice Leblanc's Arsène Lupin.
Lupin III is the latest manga character to be brought to the 59FIFTY by New Era, following the likes of One Piece and Dragon Ball Z. The Lupin the Third logo appears in red, white and yellow embroidery on the front panels of a black crown. Lupin himself is featured on the back panels in white stitch while a white New Era flag is included on the wearer's left.
