Wonder Woman

Comic book movies are as popular as ever and are only getting better. This year arguably the most well known female superhero will star in her own blockbuster as DC expand on their movie universe with Wonder Woman. Portrayed by Gal Gadot, Princess Diana of Themyscira made her big screen debut in last years Batman v Superman and was one of the film's highlights.
With the new release comes fresh headwear from New Era including this 59FIFTY based on Wonder Woman's armour.

Suicide Squad

The DC cinematic universe expanded slightly last week with the release of the David Ayer directed Suicide Squad. Based on the comics of the same name, Suicide Squad is a special task force overseen by Amanda Waller, who undertake covert missions for the US government. DC linked up with New Era to release a bunch of 59FIFTYs for the film's release.One of the squad members is Killer Croc, portrayed by British actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, one of Batman's rouges gallery.

Batman v Superman

In preparation for the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice DC Comics have teamed up with New Era to bring a collection of 59FIFTYs fit for any superhero fan. The Bat of Gotham is represented with the Armour Batman 59FIFTY while the son of Krypton's symbol of "Hope" is featured on the Armour Superman 59FIFTY.

Wonder Woman

One for the ladies. In the comic book world Diana Prince is Wonder Woman, a warrior princess of the Amazons. With her Lasso of Truth, indestructible bracelets and tiara, Wonder Woman fights for justice, peace, love and sexual equality. This New Era is based of the heroine's costume, the red crown features iconic emblem in raised yellow embroidery, outlined in black, along with a yellow top button and NE flag. New Era x DC Comics

Superman vs. Batman will be coming to the big screen is a few years as the two iconic characters get set to clash or perhaps work together in an undisclosed plot. I'm sure when the movie is released DC and New Era will have a treat or two for us but as of now we have to settle for their current releases.

The "Denim Hero" 59FIFTY see the duo's symbols embroidered onto the front panels of denim crowns. While the Superman fitted features a blue visor the Batman cap goes for a black visor, both colours used in the Hero's costumes. Batman

Holy cow Batman! DC Comics and New Era team up again to drop the "Batman Speckle" 59Fifty. The grey crown features the classic black and yellow Batman insignia on the front panels with black and yellow speckles all around the cap.
