Wonder Woman

Comic book movies are as popular as ever and are only getting better. This year arguably the most well known female superhero will star in her own blockbuster as DC expand on their movie universe with Wonder Woman. Portrayed by Gal Gadot, Princess Diana of Themyscira made her big screen debut in last years Batman v Superman and was one of the film's highlights.
With the new release comes fresh headwear from New Era including this 59FIFTY based on Wonder Woman's armour.

MAJOR DC

This season New Era have become the official authentic headwear provider of the NBA, WNBA and NBA D-League. The deal will give New Era exclusive rights to produce caps for marquee NBA events including the NBA Draft, All-Star Game and NBA Finals. Suicide Squad

The DC cinematic universe expanded slightly last week with the release of the David Ayer directed Suicide Squad. Based on the comics of the same name, Suicide Squad is a special task force overseen by Amanda Waller, who undertake covert missions for the US government. DC linked up with New Era to release a bunch of 59FIFTYs for the film's release.One of the squad members is Killer Croc, portrayed by British actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, one of Batman's rouges gallery.

MAJOR DC x New Era Cap

With the new MLB season in full swing MAJOR DC have released a fresh colourway of their "Chocolate City" 59FIFTY. Killing two birds with one stone the DC natives pay homage to not only the city's nickname but their home team the Washington Nationals and their chocolate syrup celebration.

Batman v Superman

In preparation for the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice DC Comics have teamed up with New Era to bring a collection of 59FIFTYs fit for any superhero fan. The Bat of Gotham is represented with the Armour Batman 59FIFTY while the son of Krypton's symbol of "Hope" is featured on the Armour Superman 59FIFTY.

MAJOR DC

Always paying homage to their hometown of Washington DC, MAJOR link up with New Era for a piece inspired by the city's nickname. Chocolate City is featured in raised white embroidery across the front panels. MAJOR's Trinity logo appears, also in white, on the rear and a grey undervisor adds the finishing touches to an otherwise brown fitted. MAJOR take a lot of pride in representing their home town of DC. For that reason nearly every release has some element of Washington entwined in the cap's story. This new "Block DC" 59FIFTY, inspired by winter sports, uses a classic navy wool base and features the letters D and C on the front panels. The letters appear embroidered in two colours; D in red and C in white. MAJOR's signature Trinity logo also makes an appearance, this time on the rear, in glowy white while the cap is finished with a red NE flag and grey underbill. Wonder Woman

One for the ladies. In the comic book world Diana Prince is Wonder Woman, a warrior princess of the Amazons. With her Lasso of Truth, indestructible bracelets and tiara, Wonder Woman fights for justice, peace, love and sexual equality. This New Era is based of the heroine's costume, the red crown features iconic emblem in raised yellow embroidery, outlined in black, along with a yellow top button and NE flag. DC Shoes and New Era join forces once again for DC's seasonal 59FIFTY collection. Using their "DC Empire" template, the cap is built using a royal blue crown and a black visor. DC Shoes and New Era Caps drop a new fitted for DC's spring collection. The "Farewell" 59FIFTY uses a navy crown accented with an orange brim and features "DC Shoes '94" across the front panels in white and orange 3D stitch.
