The Legends League

The latest of the Blue Bird 59FIFTYs from Toronto's own The Legends League has hit their online store. This cap was made in honour of Canada's 150th birthday and the start of the new MLB season. Built using a red polyester base, the classic Blue Bird logo takes its place on the front panels embroidered in full colour. A yellow border Canada flag, originally from the company's first Canada Day 59FIFTY, replaces the usual LL logo and appears opposite a tonal New Era flag. Toronto based lifestyle brand The Legends League continue to drop heat with a new colourway to their Blue Bird 59FIFTY. This time around the Blue Jay is featured on red fitted cap, with the Canadian flag replacing the tonal LL logo on the right side. Using a black crown and visor; the bird is featured on the front panels in detailed embroidery, echoing the designs of the original concept. The LL logo and New Era flag appear tonally on the side panels while The Legends League's signature band logo is included in red on the rear. Finally a grey undervbill is added to complete the look. My Top 5 Fitteds of 2016

This year has had its fair share of great 59FIFTYs; we saw classic logos make their return and some new designs made their mark. Let's take a look back at five pieces in particular; here are my top five fitteds of 2016.

The Legends League

The popular Blue Bird fitted from Toronto's The Legends League makes it return this weekend with a slight twist. The LL logo, which normally appears on the right side of the cap, is swapped out with the colourful Camden Legends patch. Other than an added green underbill, everything else remains the same; the blue jay is featured across the front panels in detailed embroidery while the red band logo takes its place on the back. This piece lands tomorrow exclusively at The LL Sweatshop, 9 Camden Street, and hopefully becomes available online soon.

Arguably this year's favourite fitted is back as The Legends League restock both colourways of the Bluebird 59FIFTY. For those of you who aren't familiar with the cap, which is available in Black and Blue, it features a re-imagined bluebird in highly detailed embroidery on the front panels.

Another bluebird sighting from the six as The Legends League drop a new colourway of their most official unofficial Toronto hat. Built using a black crown and visor a blue jay appears on the front panels in detailed embroidered. A white New Era flag graces the wearer's left and a grey undervisor complete the look. The LL logo appears tonally on the right side opposite a white NE flag. Finally a grey undervisor completes the look.
