Chicago's streetwear boutique Jugrnaut recently dropped a fitted in collaboration with New Era, their second of the year so far. The cap built with a black woollen crown and brim features the OG Shield logo embroidered in black and white on the front panels. The USA flag appears on the right side while the other logos; Jugrnaut's box logo and the NE flag are tonally embroidered on the back and left side respectively. This coming Friday (Good Friday) Jugrnaut is releasing their second batch of 59FIFTYs of the year. Their signature Shield logo returns this time on a black fitted; one with the tradition red, white and blue USA flag and a black, blue and red flag on the other. Both feature the OG Shield logo in raised white stitch and a tonal New Era flag on the wearer's left. Mark this one in your calendar and keep watch for Friday.

10DEEP's summer collection has arrived, this time with only one New Era 59FIFTY offering as part of their Victory section. Using a black body and green undervisor, the embroidery on the front panels has been flipped. Instead of the "VCTRY USA" being raised, the box around it is featured in tonal 3D stitch accompanied by 8 white stars. Every season 10.DEEP release the "Victory" capsule as a way of paying homage to sportswear. This season's New Era 59FIFTY from the collection is the "Champion" fitted. USA is featured in white puff embroidery on the front panels of a red crown, accented with a navy visor. A Victory Sport patch appears on the right side while VCTRY is stitched in navy on the rear. USA vs. China

Now we all know New Era is an American brand and it's great that they have their product made within the states but I must say I prefer the quality control that China provides when it comes to making the 59FIFTY.

I recently purchased a fitted from one if my favourite brands but was disappointed to find that the built of the fitted was tarnished by the quality of the construction.

New in from Chicago's Jugrnaut is the Polo inspired "Ralphie" collection which includes this New Era 59FIFTY. The red fitted features the Shield logo in white raised embroidery while the Box logo appears in white on the back. Jugrnuat are back with another colourway of their trademark Shield USA 59FIFTY. Using the ever popular woodland camouflage print on the base, the Jurgrnuat shield is embroidered in black on the front panels of the crown. MAJOR DC

Earlier in the month America celebrated their independence on 4th July and MAJOR had dropped this colourway of the "Never Minor" fitted to commemorate the occasion. The navy fitted features the circular logo embroidered in glow-in-the-dark white on the crown, and an American flag on the right panel. MAJOR's trinity logo makes an appearance on the rear, using the same thread as the Never Minor logo and the cap is finished with a grey undervisor. Fly Your Own Flag

Another New Era original hits the shelves as they present the Country Colours series featuring seven 59Fifty caps. These include; Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan and USA.
The caps feature the New Era flag sporting each country's colours on the front panels of a white crown. They also include the flags as a side patch and have "Fly Your Own Flag" embroidered on the rear. Six of these are available now via Style File http://www.stylefile.com. However the Great Britain fitted is yet to be released.

Major DC

Major DC prepared this fitted last week in anticipation of Team USA's win in the 2012 London Olympic basketball final. In the North Greenwich Arena the teams took to the court for a rematch of the 2008 Beijing Olympics finals where USA took the gold, defeating Spain, winning 118-107. And as predicted, with a scoreline of 107-100, USA retained their gold medal.

The fitted features Major's trinity logo embroidered in metallic gold on the front panels of a white crown and their 3 stars box logo on the rear in metallic gold, black and white. The cap is finished with a black brim with Kelly green undervisor and the American flag on the right side.
