YOFI Clothing

Here's a throwback to a fitted I purchased just over a year ago from YOFI Clothing. The Californian brand introduced us to the "Bears Love Skateboarding" 59FIFTY, which is also available in San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Lakers colours. Always inspired by the inner workings of California, the fitted pays homage to one of the state's greatest inventions; the skateboard. Not only limited to one muse, the piece is also a tribute to the cover art of the official state song of California.

Leaders have a special surprise up their sleeves for Throwback Thursday. For the next couple months the boutique will drop a previously released fitted every Thursday. These samples range between the sizes of 7 1/4 and 7 1/2, with most of them being a 7 3/8. In most cases there will only be one hat available and will be $50 a pop. These retro fitteds will only be available in store on a first come first served basis. The set in the picture above will be released today.

Alice in Wonderland

One of my favourite fitteds from 2010 has been re-stocked for the very last time. The Cheshire Cat of Alice in Wonderland takes the shape of a black 59Fifty; his eyes in teal, a tonal nose and his signature grin all appear on the front panels. A quote from the Cheshire cat is embroidered on the rear and a sketch of the cat is included on the undervisor. This collaboration came to formation through the relationship Frank151 and MLTD developed as MLTD have been an authorised retailer of Frank151 pieces for a long time.

I am a big Wu-Tang Clan fan and when I saw the cap while hat browsing it lead me to Strictly Fitteds, one of my inspirations for this blog, and this video...
