Last year Top Dawg Entertainment dropped four of the six promised projects; Cilvia Demo, Oxymoron, Z and These Days... So this year we look forward to new music from Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock. Music aside, one thing the record label did last year deliver were a collection of 59FIFTYs adding a New Era account to their merchandise.
With artist such as Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q under their roof, powerhouse TDE have made a name for themselves over the past couple of years. The West Coast label recently linked up with headwear giants New Era for some 59FIFTY merchandise any fan would want. The "TxDxE" logo appears on the front panels in raised white embroidery. Their HiiiPower "Eye" logo is featured on the rear of the cap, also in white. This piece is available now via TDE's online store http://topdawgent.bigcartel.com/.
Scrolling through Instagram, I found an interesting piece for any TDE fan. Jerome D. (@jddcdottv) the man behind the majority of the camp's music videos, captioned this pic "In here modeling new merch listening to new Ab-Soul...". The black fitted features the "TXDXE" logo in white embroidery. Stay tuned for more information on the release of the 59FIFTY.
LA streetwear brand, Deadline release their first official New Era 59Fifty. Checkout the other colourways in this previous post. I've always been intrigued by the Deadline brand and the chalkline logo has had a strange appeal to me. I remember seeing their hat which was released with Hall Of Fame and as usual I'd seen it too late and my size was sold out.
