As part of their spring collection lifestyle brand Black Scale team up once again with New Era, releasing this fitted as part of their headwear capsule. The Cherub II 59FIFTY features a black woollen crown and visor with the word Scale embroidered tonally on the front panels. A tiger camouflage halo, printed onto ballistic nylon, appears on the top of the crown while the Black Scale and New Era flags can be seen on the back and left side respectively. Last year Black Scale teamed up with New Era Korea to create a small capsule dubbed Black Seoul. Now the pair join forces once again for part two of the collaboration. This 59FIFTY features a black crown and brim with BLVCK embroidered tonally across the front panels in raised stitch.

Black Scale recently joined forces with Seattle skate shop Alive & Well for another round of their "BLVCK SEV" collaboration. Included in the collection is this New Era 59FIFTY constructed from waterproof Gore-Tex fabric. Using a black crown, visor and green undervisor a black faux leather patch appears on the front panels. Other features include; a tonal Black Scale flag on the rear and a white woven label on the visor. A Gore-Tex badge appears opposite a white New Era flag on the cap's sides. This particular 59FIFTY, the "Scape" fitted, uses a black crown and visor and features a white "5" in raised embroidery above what seem to be a red landscape. The Five-Percent Nation was founded in 1963 by Clarence 13X, a former member of the Nation of Islam. Many Hip-Hop artists have been affiliated with the Five Percenters and brought the "Five-Percent lessons" to the masses through their music.

The Black Scale spring collection came jam packed with fitteds, taking inspiration many from places other brands even dream of. The "Annuit Hate" 59FIFTY is an perfect example of this. The word annuit comes from the latin word annuo meaning "to nod" or "to approve". It can be found on the back of the Great Seal of the United States and on the one dollar bill. As it can be used in past or present tense I assume the literal translation of this fitted is "Approved Hate" (Black Scale please correct me if I'm wrong).
