Be water, my friend. In the early 70's Bruce Lee became a global phenomenon, starring in films such as Enter the Dragon and Fists of Fury, sparking new interest in Chinese martial arts in the West. In 1967 Bruce Lee founded the eclectic and hybrid martial art Jeet Kune Do, a fighting style that is not fixed or patterned but is inspired by Lee's many philosophies. Recently the Bruce Lee Foundation teamed up with New Era to bring a series of 59FIFTYs to fans of the iconic martial artist.
Constructed with a navy body the cap features Bruce Lee's core symbol, which also serves as the JKD emblem, embroidered on the front panels in red and metallic gold stitch. The Chinese characters that appear around the Taijitu translate to "Using no way as way" & "Having no limitation as limitation". Finally the New Era flag appears on the wearer's left for the finishing touches. You can find this piece available now on the official Bruce Lee online store http://brucelee.shop.sportstoday.com/.
