New Era By You gift card to one lucky winner, I decided it was about time to use the service myself. I'd been holding back as I wasn't sure on what colours or logo to use from New Era's vast catalogue. After much thought I decided on designing a piece based on my pair of Air Jordan 1s "Phoenix Suns Formidable Foes" which uses; white, bright citrus, court purple and black.
You can choose whether you'd like to have every panel the same colour or customise each panel separately. It was hard to match the colours 100% but I think I got it close enough. I used a mixture of polyester and wool materials. After choosing your base colours you move onto stitching and eyelets, with options for matching the fabric or selecting a contrasting colour.
Lastly it's time to choose your logos! As New Era do not have a Phoenix Suns logo on file I decided to go with a New Era branded logo. I went for the "New Era Flag Camo Fill" on the front and the "New Era Script" on the rear. All in all, New Era By You is an easy to use customisation tool and with so many possible combinations you'll want to keep designing.
