For 50 years New Era's 59FIFTY hats stood as an icon. The ultimate in style. A symbol of self expression. Often imitated but never replicated. The New Era 59FIFTY.
In 2004 New Era celebrated its 50th anniversary with a bang. They introduced the "Capture the Flag" fitted, a series of special edition caps designed by a range of celebrities that were released each month till the end of that year. The "National" fitted that were made available at Hatworld and Lids stores across America and finally the "Gold Star" fitted.
Created in limited supplies and sold in select retailers around the world this 59Fifty is one that every serious New Era Cap fan should have in their collection.

A black box lined with metallic gold fabric which includes a mirror and description card houses the limited edition fitted cap.
The "Gold Star" fitted features a metallic gold cap with the phrase "59Fifty at 50" embroidered onto the front panels also in metallic gold. The cap is finished with a special edition New Era sticker which includes the same text as the cap's embroidery.

New Era always out do themselves with their special edition caps so here's to hoping their 60th anniversary in 2014 is even bigger.
