On your bike son.
In anticipation of the grand opening of their Miami flagship store New Era approached Freqnt Flyr, an independent city-bike company based in Los Angeles, for a collaboration. City-biking is becoming increasingly popular and New Era saw an opportunity to promote cycling in the community especially amongst teens and young adults.
That meant not only a custom bike for New Era but also a custom 59Fifty for Freqnt Flyr. The FF design team got to work and created a custom logo, which is embroidered on the front panels, inspired by gears on a bike.
Two colourways have been produced in this exclusive fitted; black & white and royal-blue, red & white. The black/white cap features both the custom and Freqnt Flyr logo embroidered in white onto a black cap. While the royal-blue/red/white cap features the custom logo in red on the front and the Freqnt Flyr logo in white on the back finished with a red visor. Both caps are available to buy now from http://freqntflyr.bigcartel.com/.
The New Era Miami flagship store opened on May 19th 2012 where the custom Miami bike was given away to one lucky winner. Follow both @New_Era_MIA and @FreqntFlyrBykes on Twitter for more updates.
